Her Majesty The Queen
We were saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty The Queen and after careful consideration, we felt it was appropriate to go ahead with the rally as the proceeds benefit many local charities and communities. We would like to invite visitors and exhibitors to join us in a moment of reflection to pay their respects to Her Majesty The Queen during our afternoon parade of engines.
The 46th Grand Henham Steam Rally takes place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September 2022, between 10am and 6pm. Gates open at 9am.
You can buy tickets in advance through our online ticket shop (now closed). There’s free postage and no booking fee – and you will save money on the gate price. Online ticket sales close on Tuesday 6 September. Tickets will be sent by post.
Your wristbands must be worn on arrival and at all times when on site. The wristbands allow entry to the rally. Those without wristbands (over the age of 8) will be charged the daily rate (please see our tickets page for prices). If you are visiting for the day, then wristbands are not required.
We are happy for you to bring your dog providing it is kept on a lead at all times, is well behaved and friendly. We also ask that you clean up any mess and dispose of it responsibly.
We have plenty of parking on site and it’s free!
The rally is held on grass parkland which is mainly flat however it can be uneven in places. If you require disabled parking, we can direct you to parking spaces closer to the rally site on arrival. We are also able to offer camping pitches closer to the rally site if needed. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer the hire of mobility scooters.

There are plenty of toilets on site, including disabled toilets and those with baby change facilities. We also have several drinking water outlets around the site and on the campsite and visitors are encouraged to bring their reusable water bottle to help reduce plastic waste. There are also chemical toilet disposal facilities for campers.
